Pre-production: Creative+ Logistical Elements

Here, I am going to put all my creative and logistical elements for pre-production so then when I film, I am as organised as possible and I know where and when I am going to film.

Using this resource list, I am more prepared for my production as if I didn't do this I would be unprepared with what equipment I need during the filming process.

In addition, a potential issue that can occur is if a member of my crew becomes ill or can't make it on a particular day. To ensure this issue has solutions, I will give myself enough time to re shoot footage that I may have missed during the time period. On top of this, I will have a contingency plan on what I should do during a particular day encase I can't complete the original task so then I am still productive and working towards completing the project.

Using this, I know what locations I am going to scout as if I didn't do this, choosing a location would be a more chaotic task to accomplish and would be very unprofessional if I didn't do this in the industry. To ensure I have enough time to film, I gave myself additional time in the locations to either re-shoot or film extra footage for the project.

Using this plot board, this will help me develop my story line further when I begin to do the script as this gives me a basic line of events I'd like to be accomplished within the short film.

To ensure that I knew what I would be doing and to accomplish it to the best of my abilities, I did a script read through so I could rehearse what I needed to say and do.
