Investigation and Analysis

Here, I am going to be investigating and analysing different camera angles, the client and the target audience. I am doing this to understand the client and target audience better so then my product can delicate to there needs. 

Using this, I can see what shots I can potentially use within my product as this has given my initial ideas for my project including potentially doing a comedic style short film or a documentary regarding Sunderland culture. Moreover, this has helped me refresh my technical skills and ideas for shots I can use within the project.

Furthermore, I decided to research into Bright Lights Youth Arts Exhibition so then I can understand the client further. Using this, I can see what is required for this area along with understanding what Sunderland Culture have hosted in the past. This can help me with my product as I can see what there standards have been with previous campaigns. If I didn't do this, I wouldn't know the quality standard of Sunderland culture I would need to uphold.

In addition, so I could comprehend the standard of quality for Sunderland Culture's media, I researched into products they've produced which allows me to potentially implement some of there codes and conventions into my own product so then the product will be as consistent as if I didn't do this, I could potentially illuminate parts of my audience with the difference in quality. 

Using all of the client research I have obtained, I can see that the general demographics can be anyone within the region as long as they can relate to the content in some capacity along with how I can tailor my content to fit the region, the brief and the client whilst upholding the quality they have although I would still want to make the work unique to me.

In addition, using this research, I can also analyse the codes and conventions regarding camera angles as from watching several short horror films, I can see that close-ups, low angles and medium shots are the most popular camera angles to use within this niche. With this, I can use similar shots within my own project whilst also experimenting with different and unique camera angles.
